1. FC Cologne will have to restructure its defence in the summer – and will also need experience to do so. One candidate is the 27-year-old Belgian Sebastiaan Bornauw from Leeds United. The Belgian already played for FC from 2018 to 2021, but is now only used sporadically in England under German coach Daniel Farke. That could change in Cologne – but a transfer would probably not be cheap due to the contract in Leeds, which runs until 2029.
