World Cup tips today – all predictions for the games of 12.06.2026
And there it goes into the next day at the 2026 World Cup. With the games between Canada and Bosnia and the USA and Paraguay, we have two exciting duels ahead of us again. In today’s World Cup tips, I summarize the respective World Cup predictions of the editors and add my own two cents at the appropriate point.
Please keep in mind that the game of the Americans will kick off tonight at 04:00. In Los Angeles, the clocks run differently. In the City of Angels it is then only 18:00 in the evening. More practical are the times for the Canada game. We start at 9:00 p.m. – in tranquil Toronto, it starts at 3:00 p.m.
Just like yesterday, Christian and I shared the work. While I took over the match between Canada and Bosnia (live on free TV on ARD) and set my sights on a player bet, Christian is the expert for the duel between the USA and Paraguay.
And Christian doesn’t quite trust the Americans without a freebet. The fact that the US boys did not have to play a World Cup qualifier and could not get the necessary competitive toughness could be the deciding factor in the end that it would only be enough for a draw.
Canada – Bosnia World Cup Tip
Co-hosts Canada go into the duel with Bosnia at 3 p.m. local time in Toronto as favorites – that much is clear. However, I don’t see the Canadians in pole position as clearly as the bookmakers. Bosnia fought its way through the playoffs with nerves of steel and – remembering – eliminated Italy.
So I think the Bosnians can score at least one goal. And here the question arises as to who could be responsible for this. The fact is that Haris Tabakovic is struggling with his serious foot injury. In addition, Edin Dzeko is no longer the youngest and is unlikely to be able to go full throttle for 90 minutes.
And so a certain Ermedin Demirovic inevitably comes into focus. One or the other Stuttgart fan will remember that the attacker helped VfB last season with a total of 12 goals.
“Demirovic scores” is accordingly the bet of my choice for the duel with Canada. And you mustn’t forget: It remains to be seen how the nerves of the Canadians will be. After all, you don’t play such a home World Cup every day.
USA – Paraguay World Cup Prediction
Tonight (CET), another co-host, the USA, will do the honours. Pulisic and Co. want to cut a good figure against Paraguay and pick up three points in the opener.
Christian sees the Americans scoring, but not necessarily winning. The combination tip “Double Chance 1X & Under 3.5 Goals” leaves the back door open for a hard-fought draw, which fits the starting position. There is no clear favourite.
In particular, according to Christian, the question is whether the Americans will actually benefit fully from the home advantage. The game will take place in Los Angeles. And there, one or the other football fan is likely to be more enthusiastic about South American football culture.
It is also a fact that the Americans have not played any competitive matches in the recent past, while Paraguay had to fight their way through the CONMEBOL qualifiers. The Paraguayans should therefore hardly lack the necessary competitive toughness.
