King Manu will remain with Energie Cottbus after promotion to the second division and will move permanently to Lausitz. The 22-year-old already played for FCE last season on loan from Fortuna Düsseldorf and scored two goals in 28 third division games. After Fortuna’s relegation, the central defender’s contract lost its validity, and now Manu will also play for the Lusatians in the 2nd division next season.
