Qatar, meanwhile, faces an even greater challenge after the 6-0 thrashing against Canada. The performance was frighteningly weak, especially in the offensive, where with an xG value of only 0.18, hardly any danger could be created in front of the opponent’s goal.
The direct comparison is not very meaningful, as there have only been two friendly matches so far. Surprisingly, Qatar is unbeaten in these duels, with one win and one draw. However, this has little relevance on Wednesday.
Bosnia, meanwhile, have already proven in their 2014 World Cup participation that they can hold their own against teams from this region. At that time, a 3-1 win against Iran was the only victory at a final tournament so far. A certainly good omen for the upcoming duel!

Qatar’s hopes of reaching the knockout stages were severely dampened by the crushing 6-0 defeat to Canada. The team was presented in phases and revealed considerable deficiencies in all parts of the team.
