It has become apparent, now it’s official: Robert Glatzel is leaving Hamburger SV and moving to VfL Wolfsburg, the 32-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Bundesliga relegated team until June 2028. Glatzel has played for HSV for the past five years, for whom he scored 84 goals in 150 competitive games. In the 2023/24 season, the centre-forward became the top scorer in the 2nd division, but his goals were not enough for promotion.
