After the first promotion to the Bundesliga, Carlo Sickinger leaves SV Elversberg and joins SV Darmstadt 98 after four and a half years. The 28-year-old midfielder, who has played a total of 112 competitive games for the Saarlanders, is to take the squad place at the Lilies from Paul Will, who moved to Fürth, according to sporting managing director Paul Fernie.
