After his extremely successful loan to Alemannia Aachen in the previous season (28 goals in 34 third division games), Lars Gindorf has now established himself in the starting eleven of Hannover 96 – and is expected to play a leading role at Maschsee in the long term. As the second division club announced on Sunday shortly before the first home game of the season against VfL Wolfsburg, the 25-year-old attacker has extended his contract at 96, which expires at the end of the season, ahead of schedule until the summer of 2029.
