Bayer Leverkusen announced on Sunday evening that Axel Tape’s transfer to UD Levante has been confirmed. The one-year loan is intended to give the youngster match practice: “We have high hopes for Axel Tape, who didn’t have it easy in his position in the first year due to injuries and great competition,” said Bayer sporting director Simon Rolfes. “With his pace, athleticism and great versatility, we definitely see the potential for more in Axel.”
