Jamie Vardy is back in English football: As Premier League relegated Burnley announced on Sunday afternoon, the 39-year-old striker will initially receive a contract for the 2026/27 season. Vardy scored seven goals in 29 Serie A appearances for Cremona last season, but was unable to prevent relegation. He had been without a club since 1 July.
