Gyasi Zardes is rather unknown in Germany, but the striker has been a formative figure in the MLS over the past decade. Since 2013, Zardes has scored 106 goals and set up 29 more in a total of 328 MLS games (regular season) – he played the most games for LA Galaxy (131) and Columbus Crew (110). Now the American, who has also played 68 times for the national team (14 goals), is ending his career at the age of 35.
