Rabbi Matondo, who moved to FC Schalke 04 in the spring of 2019 for nine million euros as a supposed top talent, has found a new club after almost six weeks without a club. The now 26-year-old attacker, who most recently played for Brann Bergen in Norway for almost six months, signed a contract with Hibernian Edinburgh until the end of the season on Wednesday evening. The 15-time Welsh international is no stranger to Scotland, having already played for Glasgow Rangers from 2022 to March 2026, who have also loaned him to Hannover 96 for six months.
