Ben Schlicke has extended his contract with MSV Duisburg ahead of schedule – one day before his 21st birthday on 31 October. The defender and son of Björn Schlicke (also active for MSV and HSV, among others) came to Wedau from SpVgg Unterhaching in 2025 and played eight league games this season, in which he scored one goal. His new contract term was not communicated.
