After a break of a few weeks, the premier class of motorcycle racing continues this weekend with the Assen MotoGP. Who will secure victory at the Dutch Grand Prix?

Date & Start time: When is the Assen MotoGP?
Four weeks after the last Grand Prix, which took place in Mugello, the next race is now on the agenda with the Assen MotoGP. The Grand Prix will be held at the legendary TT Circuit Assen.
The Dutch Grand Prix over 26 race laps starts on Sunday (June 30) at 14:00.
After the press meetings on Thursday, the first free practice session will start on Friday (June 28) at 10:45 am. The second practice session is then scheduled from 15:00.
The Assen MotoGP schedule starts on Saturday at 10:10 with the last free practice session, followed by qualifying at 10:50.
Finally, the 13-lap sprint race will be held on Saturday afternoon at 15:00.

Moto GP Assen broadcast on TV and stream
MotoGP TV coverage in Germany has been available on Sky since this season. The Munich-based pay-TV broadcaster shows every session of MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, from practice and qualifying to the race, and thus the full load of motorcycle sport.
The Assen MotoGP broadcast on Sky will start on Sunday (June 30) at 13:20, a full 40 minutes before the start of the race.
In addition to the TV broadcast, Sky also offers an Assen MotoGP stream via Sky Go. Motorsport fans without a Sky subscription can book a ticket via WOW to watch the Dutch Grand Prix.
In Austria, the MotoGP broadcast from Assen can be seen live on ServusTV. The pre-reporting starts at 13:45 and thus a quarter of an hour before the start of the race

A look at the MotoGP Assen forecast shows that a duel for victory could develop on Sunday.
Once again, world championship leader Jorge Martin (ESP) and Italian Francesco Bagnaia are considered the top favorites in the run-up to the race.
Bagnaia won both the last Grand Prix in Mugello and the race before that in Barcelona, while Martin finished third and second respectively
In Bagnaia’s favor, however, is the fact that he won the Dutch GP in both 2022 and 2023.
In addition to the top duo, Marc Marquez, who is currently third in the riders’ standings, and the Italian Enea Bastianini (4th in the world championship standings) are considered to have the best chances of winning.
