At UFC 305, reigning champion Dricus Du Plessis meets former dominator Israel Adesanya.
Du Plessis won the title in January of this year against Sean Strickland. Now the 30-year-old is set for his first middleweight title defense.
In Israel Adesanya, he will face the current runner-up in the middleweight division. The now 35-year-old has since regained the title after losing it to Alex Pereira.
However, he lost the belt again immediately after losing to Sean Strickland in September 2023. This means that “The Last Stylebender” has lost two of his last three fights.
