Long-time Bundesliga player Marvin Plattenhardt (32) has declared the end of his career. “Now the point has come where I say: Done! I’m hanging up my boots,’” the 32-year-old told Bild. Plattenhardt had been under contract with Hertha BSC until 2023 and had been without a club since then. “There were a few talks with clubs in various countries between summer 2023 and the end of January 2024, but the overall package wasn’t right for me in terms of my family and company,” said Plattenhardt.
