What are the 2024 Nations League groups and dates for the controversial Nations League?
The 2024 Nations League fixture list features a total of six match days, which will be played in September, October and November. There will also be a quarter-final in March 2025, in which four teams will qualify for the final tournament in June 2025.

Nations League 2024: Broadcast live on TV and stream
ARD, ZDF and RTL are responsible for broadcasting Germany’s international matches in the Nations League. This means that all DFB international matches will be shown on free-to-air TV.
All other matches on the 2024 Nations League schedule will be broadcast live on DAZN.
This means that the streaming service will show all matches of the Nations League groups 2024 live and exclusively – apart from the matches of the German national team.
Nations League match schedule 2024/25: relegation, quarter-finals & Final Four
The Nations League does not end with the sixth matchday of the Nations League groups in November, but continues in 2025 – and how!
The 2024 Nations League schedule has been expanded to include a quarter-final and relegation matches.
The best teams from League A will continue in the quarter-finals. The first and second teams from each of the four groups qualify for the last eight. Here, the first team in each group meets the runner-up.
The four participants for the Final Four tournament, which will take place from June 4 to 8, 2025, will be determined in a round-robin format.
Another new feature is that the teams that finish third in the 2024 Nations League groups will have to compete in a relegation play-off in March.
The relegation matches with return matches will then take place between the third-placed teams in League A and the runners-up in League B and between the third-placed teams in League B and the runners-up in League C.

Nations League mode: Starting places for the 2026 World Cup
The UEFA Nations League 2024/2025 will also be used to award starting places for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
This time, the twelve group runners-up from the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the four best Nations League teams that did not finish in the top two in the World Cup qualifiers will take part in the World Cup play-offs. They will then play for the four remaining World Cup tickets.
