SV Elversberg used the international break to push ahead with long-term personnel planning. The result: Florian Le Joncour has prematurely extended his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the season, by two years and will thus remain with the second division club until 2027. The currently injured French defender only arrived in Saarland in February, but has quickly established himself in the starting lineup and “has become an important pillar of support,” as SVE sporting director Ole Book explained.
