Bundesliga newcomers Holstein Kiel have extended Marcel Engelhardt’s contract, which was due to expire at the end of the season, ahead of schedule. However, KSV Holstein did not disclose the term of the new contract. The 31-year-old, who has played at the Förde since the summer of 2023, is the clear number three goalkeeper behind Timon Weiner and Thomas Dähne and has only stood between the posts for the Storks in the last second division match of last season
