Ward, Joel
– Crystal Palace
The longest-serving player is leaving Crystal Palace: Joel Ward will no longer wear the eagle on his chest after 13 years, his club has confirmed. The right-back, who moved to south London from Portsmouth in 2012, is out of contract in the summer and will not be offered a new deal. Ward was the last remaining Eagles player who had been part of the team that won promotion in 2012/13. During his time at the club, the 35-year-old played 363 games for Crystal Palace, including over 300 in the Premier League.
