Hannover 96 dismissed head coach André Breitenreiter on Wednesday afternoon. After three consecutive defeats, the tenth-placed team in the 2nd Bundesliga is taking personnel action in response to its sporting decline. The 51-year-old had only taken over as coach at the end of December – until the end of the season, former assistant coach Lars Barlemann, U-19 coach Dirk Lottner, and U-17 coach Christian Schulz will take over on the sidelines.
