Even at 37, Nemanja Matic is not thinking about ending his career. The 48-time Serbian international, whose contract with Olympique Lyon was terminated just under two weeks ago, is returning to Italy. After spells in England, the Netherlands, and Portugal, Matic played for AS Roma in the 2022/23 season, and his new employer is now Sassuolo. On Tuesday, he signed a contract with the first division club until next summer, with an option for an additional year.
