Atletico – Frankfurt Tip, AI Prediction & Odds 09/30/2025

Atletico – Frankfurt Tip Champions League, Matchday 2 on Tuesday, 09/30/2025 at 9:00 p.m.

On Matchday 2 of the Champions League preliminary round, Atletico Madrid welcomes Eintracht Frankfurt. The chances of a spectacular exchange of blows are not bad.

Atletico recently thrashed Real Madrid 5-2 in the derby, and SGE easily won 6-4 against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Accordingly, I feel very well prepared in my Atletico Frankfurt tip with the combination bet “Both teams to score & over 2.5 goals” at Betano, especially since the odds of around 1.95 are rather generous.

Overall, it’s not a good idea to bet on low-scoring games for Frankfurt at the moment. In addition to a Bundesliga goal difference of 17:13 (after 5 games), the Hessians also caused a sensation in the Champions League with a 5:1 win over Galatasaray. A 0:0 draw in Madrid would therefore be a grotesque anomaly.

If you don’t feel like placing a combination bet, you can also place the two bets individually. Both “Both teams to score” (approx. 1.65) and “Over 2.5 goals” (approx. 1.60) easily exceed the 1.50 mark. Personally, I find this strange given the recent results of both teams – but all the better.

Atletico – Frankfurt Prediction & Bets

Assuming that Frankfurt don’t take their foot off the gas in Madrid, even the “Over 3.5 goals” line comes into play. The odds are around 2.50 in the sports betting apps, which justifies the risk.

And don’t forget: the bet would have paid off in Frankfurt’s last 7 (!) games – that’s all of their competitive games so far this season.

The “double chance X2” is also interesting. Frankfurt are in great form and are certainly capable of at least holding Atletico to a draw. The odds are around 2.40.

And while we’re on the subject, we might as well go all out and predict a 2-2 final score. This risky tip comes with great odds of around 15.0.

What you need to know about betting on Atletico vs. Frankfurt

  • Atletico Madrid has lost only one of its last 15 home games in the UEFA Champions League (10 wins, 4 draws). The Rojiblancos have won nine of their last ten games (1 defeat).
  • Eintracht Frankfurt have lost only three of their last 13 European appearances (8 wins, 2 draws).
  • It is also noteworthy that only one of Frankfurt’s last 66 UEFA games has ended goalless.
  • Atletico Madrid needs just one more goal to reach the 200-goal mark in the UEFA Champions League. Antoine Griezmann has already scored 38 goals for the Colchoneros in this competition.

Atletico – Frankfurt: AI tip & odds analysis

I recently heard our AI model humming the Champions League anthem in an 8-bit version. So it’s no surprise that we can look forward to an Atletico Frankfurt AI prediction.

First, the digital brain brings the “draw at halftime” bet into play. The odds of around 2.40 are excellent, as I simply don’t expect Atletico to really dominate SGE, despite their home advantage. A 1-1 score at halftime? Quite conceivable!

The odds offered by old and new betting providers for the AI’s next tip seem almost unreal. “Frankfurt over 0.5 goals” is actually approaching the 1.50 mark. As a safety-first approach, one can only blindly endorse this.

The selection “Atletico over 1.5 goals” strikes a similar note, with odds of around 1.55. True to the motto: if you can score five goals against Real Madrid, you can also engage in an open exchange of blows with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The best odds for Atletico vs. Frankfurt

Atletico Madrid started the season weakly, losing one game and drawing three times in their first six matches. Nevertheless, the odds are clearly in their favor against Eintracht. The Colchoneros are trading at around 1.60 for a win.

Frankfurt showed potential in their first two league games, but then faltered until their victory against Gladbach. In the Champions League, however, Dino Toppmöller’s team put in a strong performance against Galatasaray, scoring five goals.

The potential of both teams therefore lies primarily in their offense. Since both teams are vulnerable defensively, the “both teams to score” bet appears extremely promising.

Bookmakers and our internal prediction model, which calculates a 54.1 percent probability of winning, also favor this option.

The situation is similar with the goal line of 2.5 goals, which seems easily achievable given the offensive orientation of both teams.

Can Uzun has played in all seven of Eintracht Frankfurt’s games so far this season. With six goals and four assists, he is one of the favorites to score.

Given Atletico’s defensive weaknesses so far, he is an interesting option for an “anytime goalscorer” bet.

Atletico vs Frankfurt Match Analysis:

The good news: Atletico Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt have crossed paths once before in the past, so there is statistical added value.

The bad news: The two games took place in the mid-1970s and are now only of nostalgic interest. At least SGE won both games in the European Cup Winners’ Cup (2-1, 1-0).

Overall, Frankfurt’s record against Spanish teams is rather positive. They have seven wins and four defeats. There have also been four draws.

It is not unlikely that there will be no further defeat to lament. SGE has only suffered one away defeat so far this season (1-3 against Leverkusen), while Atletico has only won three of its seven league games.

I don’t see the Madrid team as clear favorites, as the bookmakers do.

Atletico form check

Atletico Madrid is on the rise after a spectacular 5-2 derby win against previous league leaders Real Madrid.

Diego Simeone’s team, which had previously struggled with a mixed start to the season, has heralded a turnaround in form with this success.

In La Liga, Atlético is in fourth place with 12 points after seven games. Their record so far is three wins, three draws, and one defeat.

With 14 goals scored and 9 conceded, the offense is proving effective and the defense—a well-known trademark—has stabilized after a bumpy start.

The team’s top scorer is Julian Alvarez, who scored twice in the derby and significantly increased the offensive power. Antoine Griezmann also scored in the derby, ending his personal goal drought.

With 199 league goals for the club, he is now close to a historic milestone. This convincing victory gives Atletico Madrid the momentum to keep up with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona in the title race.

Frankfurt Form check

Eintracht Frankfurt is in above-average form both nationally and internationally in the 2025/26 season.

After seven competitive games, the Hessians have five wins and two defeats, with 27 goals scored and 14 conceded. Particularly noteworthy is the 6-4 away win at Borussia Mönchengladbach on the last Bundesliga matchday.

In the Champions League, Eintracht celebrated a clear 5-1 home win against Galatasaray.

Jonathan Burkardt scored two goals and set up another, earning him the Man of the Match award. With this performance, the team underlined its ambitions on the international stage.

The offense led by Burkardt, Ansgar Knauff, and Can Uzun is working well, while the defense with Robin Koch and Rasmus Kristensen is not the top priority. In short, the foundation is in place for another spectacular SGE match against Atletico.
