Date & Match schedule: When is the ATP Hamburg 2024?
The ATP Hamburg 2024, officially also known as the Hamburg European Open, will take place from July 15 to July 21. The 500 tournament will be played at Rothenbaum and on clay court.
In contrast to 2022 and 2023, the Hamburg European Open will NOT feature a women’s tournament alongside the men’s tournament this time.
After the qualifiers are played on Saturday and Sunday (July 13 and 14), the tournament will kick off with the main competition on Monday, July 15. The first round matches are on the ATP Hamburg 2024 schedule on Monday and Tuesday. The round of 16 follows on Wednesday and Thursday.
Friday (July 19) is a real tennis highlight on the ATP Hamburg 2024 schedule. The four quarter-finals will take place.
The semi-finals are scheduled for Saturday (20.7.). The final will be played on Sunday (21.7.) from 3 p.m.

Where will the biggest German clay court tournament be broadcast on TV and livestream?
The live broadcast of the ATP Hamburg 2024 from Rothenbaum is available in Germany live on DF 1.
From Monday, July 15, DF1 will be broadcasting all main draw matches from Center Court live and exclusively on free-to-air TV and streamed on www.df1.de every day from 12:00 to approx. 20:30.
The two semi-finals on Saturday (July 20) will be shown on the channel from 3:30 pm. The final can be seen on Sunday (July 21) from 3:00 pm (incl. award ceremony). Commentary will be provided by Wolfgang Nadvornik, supported by tennis expert Christopher Kas.
DF1 took over the main broadcasting slots of the former TV channel ServusTV Deutschland at the beginning of the year.
Servus TV will continue to broadcast the Hamburg clay court tournament – but only via livestream on Servus TV On.
The ATP Hamburg 2024 broadcast schedule on Servus TV is the same from Monday to Friday, starting at 11:00 am. Saturday (semi-finals) starts at 16:00, Sunday for the men’s final at 14:55.
The ATP Hamburg 2023 broadcast is also available on the tennis streaming service TennisTV. However, this requires a paid subscription.

Who will take part in the German clay court classic and which players are among the ATP Hamburg 2024 favorites?
Alexander Zverev – born in Hamburg, Germany’s No. 1 and No. 4 in the ATP world rankings – is taking part in his home tournament. Zverev also won the tournament last year and is therefore the defending champion.

Another ATP Hamburg 2024 participant who can be counted among the title favorites before the start of the tournament is Lorenzo Musetti. The Italian is number 25 in the world rankings and won the tournament in 2022. Back then, he beat a certain Carlos Alcaraz in the final.

The prize money at the ATP Hamburg 2024 tournament this year amounts to €1,891,995.
The winner will receive € 353,750 and 500 points for the world ranking.
The finalist will collect 330 world ranking points and a consolation prize of €190,345. Those who reach the semi-finals can still look forward to 200 points and €101,460.
The tournament rewards all players who survive qualification and reach at least the first round. Those who are eliminated in round one will still receive a €14,760 “starting fee”
