ATP Munich 2025 Participants: Seeding & Favorites with Odds
At the ATP 500 tournament in Munich in 2025, some of the best tennis players in the world will take part.
In the absence of Jannik Sinner (doping ban), Alexander Zverev, second in the ATP world rankings, is the number 1 seed at the 2025 BMW Open.
Ben Shelton, currently ranked 21st in the ATP rankings, is seeded at number 2.
Who will win the ATP Munich 2025?
Of course, Alexander Zverev is considered the top favorite – although he has not been in great form lately.
After poor performances in Acapulco, Indian Wells and Miami, Germany’s top tennis player’s crisis continued recently. At the Monte Carlo Masters, Zverev lost his first match.
Second-seeded Ben Shelton also lost in the first match in Monaco against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. The US American had a much better run in Indian Wells, where he reached the quarterfinals.
Mensik, Auger-Aliassime, Humbert & Co.: The other title contenders
Behind the two top seeds Zverev and Shelton, there are a number of other candidates who are among the favorites ahead of the 2025 BMW Open.
This is because there have been a number of surprising winners at the ATP tournaments in recent weeks. Jack Draper won in Indian Wells, while Jakub Mensik won the Miami Open.
The Czech is also taking part in Munich after Taylor Fritz and Hubert Hurkacz pulled out at short notice, and is among the favorites.
Other players who could potentially finish well up the leaderboard include those who are high up in the seeding. These include Felix Auger-Aliassime, Ugo Humbert and Francisco Cerundolo.
Last year’s winner Jan-Lennard Struff should also be on the radar. Can he defend his title at the BMW Open 2025?
