Erzgebirge Aue is still in a sporting crisis. Nevertheless, the Violets are sticking to the coaching team. This is the result of a meeting of those responsible on Tuesday. “We have analysed the sporting development of the last year, especially the past games with all their side effects such as personnel concerns, performance and the course of the game,” President Thomas Schlesinger is quoted as saying on the website of the third division club: “Against Ingolstadt on Sunday, only points count, it is currently all about results in a difficult phase. We trust our team and the coaching staff to do that.” Jens Härtel and sporting director Matthias Heidrich will therefore remain in office.
