When is the Baller League 2025 starting?
In January 2024, a new football league, the Baller League, started in Germany – and with great success! The indoor football tournament for ambitious amateur kickers is set to return in 2025. It will be the third season.

What is the Baller League?
The Baller League was founded in 2023 by Mats Hummels and Lukas Podolski.
It is an indoor soccer league with ambitious and talented amateur soccer players. Each team has a well-known athlete or entertainment personality acting as one of two team managers.
The format is also quite simple: teams play 6 vs. 6 and a game lasts 2×15 minutes. Unlike classic indoor soccer, it has its own special rules.
It all sounds very similar to the ICON League, which was launched by Toni Kroos and Elias Nerlich.
The first season of the Baller League took place from January to April 2024. Season 2 was held in the year from July to October 2024.
Baller League 2025 Start: When is the next Baller League?
When does the 2025 Baller League start? This is a question that all fans of the indoor soccer format have been asking themselves for weeks.
After all, there were two Baller League championships last year – the first from January to April 2024, and the second from July to October 2024.
The 2025 Baller League season will start in March. Whether it will be on Monday, March 3 or March 10 is still part of speculation. So far, there is no official information.
But that would also affect the schedule and dates. Then the 2025 Baller League dates – if there were to be eleven matchdays again – would run until mid-May.
Where will the Baller League 2025 season be played?
After two very successful seasons at Motorworld Cologne, the amateur soccer league will play its games in its own home from Season 3 in 2025.
“We need a home of football. A location where we don’t have to set up and take down, but a place where the baller league is at home,” said CEO Felix Starck.
Officially, nothing is set in stone before the baller league starts in 2025. However, it is rumored that the indoor league will be held in Berlin from this year onwards.

Rules, mode, procedure for Season 3
The league operation with the 12 teams runs in the classic way. Each team plays one game against each of the other teams. The top 4 teams in the final table take part in the Final Four tournament and play for the championship title.
The duration of each game is 2x 15 minutes with a five-minute break in between. The playing field is 50 x 29 meters, there are sidelines and no boards. However, the game is played with offside (!).
The special thing about the new indoor league are the special rules of the game, which offer innovative differences to classic (indoor) soccer. Such as: “goals count double” or “only volley goals count” in a certain period of time.
There are no draws. If there is a tie at the end of the game time, a shootout is used to determine a winner.
Baller League Teams: Who will be there in 2025?
Since the announcement of the new small-field league, there have been repeated rumors about which players and celebrities will be there. In addition to the team captains (e.g. athletes or well-known Twitch streamers), the teams also consist of semi-professionals, talented amateurs and other guest stars.

The list of Baller League 2025 participants includes a number of prominent names as so-called “team managers”.
League founder Lukas Podolski and football starlet Alisha Lehmann will continue to lead the team “Streets United”, which won the inaugural season in April 2024.
The “Las Ligas Ladies” (reigning champions) have Selina Cerci and Croatian footballer Ana Markovic in the leading position, while the “Brotatos” are again managing their “Protatos”.
Christoph Kramer will once again coach the “Golden XI” team this season, while “FC Hollywood” relies on the duo Max Kruse and Knossi.
Another well-known participant in the 2025 season of the Ballers League is Hans Sarpei. The cult football figure leads the team “Eintracht Spandau”.
Which players will be playing in Season 3?
Who are the players who will be in the 12 teams of the third season of this indoor soccer league?
There was another draft and the teams slowly took shape during the winter months. But officially, no roster lists or player names are known yet.
What is new from the 2025 baller league start and for Ab Season 3: is that the interests of the players should be more in focus.
A three-part category system ensures this: two franchise ballers have the most lucrative contract in the team, four designated ballers occupy the squad spots and six players can be found in the rising ballers.
It was then up to the managers, influencers and celebrities to make the players good offers. They could then decide for themselves whether their current team was lucrative enough for them or whether they should consider a change.
Baller League Broadcast: Who is broadcasting the games?
As revolutionary as the Baller League is supposed to be, the games on the Baller League schedule will be broadcast in the classic way on TV. At least in part.
Season 3 of the indoor small-sided soccer league will also be available to watch across multiple Prosieben Group channels.

Are there tickets for the new 2025 season?
Interest in the small-field league remains as high as ever after each season. The question remains: will tickets be available for the 2025 Baller League?
The answer is “yes,” but so far there has always been a caveat: Baller League tickets have not been available for purchase, only to win!
Will this change when the Baller League starts in 2025 for Season 3, when the league moves from Cologne to a different venue with a larger spectator capacity?
