Barcelona – Betis Sevilla betting tip, prediction & odds 05.04.2025

La Liga, Matchday 30 on Saturday, 05.04.2025 at 21:00

Isn’t it still a bit too early for a spectacular finish? Or am I being a little too pessimistic, because nothing can really stop the leaders? FC Barcelona seem to be heading inexorably towards the title!

The Catalans are currently shooting every opponent out of the stadium, and the upcoming home game should be no exception. Accordingly, I’ll tell you what to expect on Saturday in my Barcelona Betis Sevilla tip – and I’m thinking completely offensively

Nine wins in a row, 30 goals – they currently seem unbeatable! FC Barcelona, in case you don’t remember, were in crisis around the turn of the year, winning just one of nine games.

Now, of course, you could say: Where would FC Barcelona be if this crisis hadn’t happened? On the other hand, I would argue against that: Perhaps the current series wouldn’t exist either.

4:1 against Girona, 3:0 against Osasuna, 4:2 against Atletico Madrid, I’ll just list the most recent four results. Hansi Flick’s team have everything under control and lead the league by three points over Real Madrid.

Their second rivals Atletico, who are not doing well at the moment, are already nine points clear. Robert Lewandowski has not missed a game in terms of goals since the end of January, netting twice against Girona.

Of course, I have to recommend the goal bet here, which has odds of 1.80 in the Bet365 app. If you want to take more risk and say the ex-Bayer will score at least twice, we’re even at 4.75.

Interesting to note: In the first half of the season against Betis, when the score was only 2:2, the striker also scored. So is Betis an opponent that Barca don’t like to face? That’s certainly not the way to put it

The Catalans beat their rivals 5-1 in the Copa in January and have only lost twice since 2011. 5:1, 5:0, 4:0, 5:2, 5:2? Yes, you can do that! The last home wins (with a defeat hidden in between in 2021) were more than spectacular!

So if you’re thinking of a handicap bet, you can find one at Betano. There are odds of just under 2.00 for the “-1”. Of course, I also have to mention this: Barca have to be economical with their strength.

A few days after the home game against Betis, BVB will be traveling. The first leg of the Champions League quarter-final is all about a good starting position, and some players might already have that in the back of their minds.

And then there’s the fact that Lewandowski and Co. will be far from rested this Saturday. On Wednesday, they faced Atletico in the second semi-final of the Copa, having drawn 4-4 in the first clash.

The second leg was a stark contrast. A goal from Ferran Torres in the first half was enough to win 1:0 and advance to the final. Barca’s performance was extremely confident, not allowing their opponents a single real shot on goal.

Betis Sevilla should simply ignore that and stick to their own performance, because: It has exploded in recent weeks. There had been seven wins in the first 23 rounds – and now suddenly six in a row!

3:0 against Real Sociedad, 2:1 against Getafe, 2:1 against Real Madrid, 1:0 against Las Palmas, 3:2 against Leganes and 2:1 against Sevilla – you really can’t complain about a lack of excitement with these results.

With four goals and three assists, Isco was largely responsible for the upturn in fortunes and, as a former Madrid man, he will be highly motivated against Barcelona anyway.

Three away wins from the last four games? This fact is also encouraging. If you want to find criticism, you’ll see that they’ve only managed to win three times since the end of October.

In fact, only two white vests have been collected away from home over the entire season. Incidentally, you have to keep a close eye on Isco, because: Whoever was involved in both goals against Real can also do the same against Barca (odds at Bet365 land at 5.50)!

The one has won nine times in a row, the other six times, that smells like a top match! After the exhausting cup match against Atletico Madrid, Barca must continue their run of nine wins in a row before the Champions League comes calling.

Betis Sevilla are not always a bad team to play against, but the Whites are in a really good mood at the moment. Isco in particular is doing almost everything at the moment. So will it be a duel at eye level?

I’m confident that the visitors will cause quite a stir and put the league leaders’ defense to the test. But as Lewandowski and Co. are also in great form themselves, my tip is now:

The 3.5 goals will be exceeded!
