After the dismissal of Sandro Wagner, FC Augsburg had initially appointed Manuel Baum as the new coach on an interim basis until the end of the year – contrary to what was initially planned, the 46-year-old will now remain on the sidelines until the end of the season. Under Baum, FCA picked up four points in the games against Leverkusen (2-0), Frankfurt (0-1) and Bremen (0-0).
