Sacha Boey has left Bayern as expected. As the German record champions announced on Thursday evening, the defender is leaving Munich on loan back to Galatasaray Istanbul. Boey (25) arrived at the Isar in January 2024 and has a contract with the German champions until 30 June 2028. Max Eberl, FCB’s sporting director, commented on the transfer: “Sacha knows Galatasaray very well from his time before he joined us and won’t need a long warm-up period in a familiar environment. He can collect minutes at the highest level in the Champions League play-offs against Juventus Turin as well as in the title race of the Turkish Süper Lig, which will be very good for his development.”
