NFL 2024/25: Bears – Packers
In my crystal ball, I see a Bears Packers tip that – if it actually comes true – could result in the next coaching dismissal.
I can’t imagine Chicago sticking with Matt Eberflus in the event of another loss. Allow me to make a little joke: But CHI has by no means amassed an “abundance” of victories in 2024!
Here we have a truly explosive game between two NFC North rivals, with the Bears and Packers facing off in a duel of opposites.
After a well-deserved bye week, the Packers should be much more rested going into the game – and the timing couldn’t be better: quarterback Jordan Love has had the opportunity to fully recover from his injuries and prepare optimally.
Before their loss to Detroit, the Packers also had a four-game winning streak behind them, which shows how much quality this team has. Now they face a Bears team that’s brimming with problems.
Last week was anything but kind to Chicago, and that’s not just reflected in the result – the Bears’ internal tensions are now clearly visible on the field.
The situation looks bleak for Chicago: The 19-3 loss to the New England Patriots was a clear sign that things are rotten within the team.
Head coach Matt Eberflus seems to have lost control of the team. It would be no surprise if Chicago makes another drastic coaching decision before kickoff against the Pats.
The pressure is weighing heavily on the shoulders of the head coach and his players, especially now that injuries are mounting on both the offensive line and defense.
And that’s a significant disadvantage, because the Bears’ defense has long been considered this team’s showpiece.
However, the Bears’ problems are now also reflected in their defense, which conceded a whopping 328 yards against the Patriots’ weak offense.
The team from Green Bay, for its part, knows exactly how to exploit these weaknesses. Love and the Packers offense will take every opportunity to drive Chicago even further into the crisis.
For you NFL betting fans, there are several interesting scenarios on the Intertops app for which promising Bears Packers odds have been announced.
The scores are particularly exciting, as the Bears have shown time and again that they like to deliver defensively dominated games as underdogs.
Eight of the last nine games in which Chicago has started as underdogs have gone under the bookmakers’ “total points” – a pattern that seems realistic this time too.
It is therefore worth taking a look at the “Under 40.5 points” bet type at odds of currently around 1.90. For solid odds, this is a smart bet that suggests a defensive battle.
The touchdown bet on Josh Jacobs is also interesting. Jacobs has scored the first touchdown in three of his last four outings when his team started as the favorite on foreign soil.
That fits this matchup perfectly, where the Packers, with all their offensive power, could take control. If you want to take a risk, you should bet on “Jacobs scores the 1st touchdown” at odds of around 5.50.
Incidentally, if you want to register with a bookmaker to use these Bears Packers tips, the Winamax registration is of course ideal for this. That way you are well prepared!
Conclusion: In my Bears Packers forecast, there is a clear advantage for the Packers. The Bears defense may be solid, but when it comes to the overall strength of the team, things look bleak.
With a head coach who has long since lost control of the team and an increasingly chaotic on-field performance, another loss to Green Bay is almost inevitable.
As for the Packers, they have a breath of fresh air after their bye week and the composure they need to hit the ground running against Chicago.
Quarterback Jordan Love will certainly bring more focus to the offense after the short recovery, which should give the Packers an additional boost.
That’s why I’m backing the Packers to win and also selecting the additional condition “Under 50.5 points”.
Why? Despite everything, the Bears defense remains a solid force that could limit the game. A Packers win in combination with a low-scoring game therefore seems the best choice here – and with the prospect of good odds.
My tip: Victory Green Bay & over 50.5 points
