SV Werder Bremen announced the contract extension with Amos Pieper on Friday afternoon. The 27-year-old central defender has been under contract at the Weser since the summer of 2022 – the Bundesliga club did not communicate how long the new contract will run. Pieper, however, has played a “significant role in ensuring that we radiate stability in defence,” praised head coach Horst Steffen in a club statement.
