Cagliari – AC Milan Tip, AI Prediction & Odds 02.01.2026

Cagliari – AC Milan Tip Serie A, Matchday 18 on Friday, 02/01/26 at 20:45 CET

On matchday 18 of Serie A, AC Milan go into the duel with Cagliari Calcio as favourites – there is nothing to argue about.

However, I still don’t think the Milanese can win a clean sheet in my Cagliari Milan tip. The underdogs have never been without a goal of their own in the last seven games and are likely to put up fierce resistance in front of their home crowd.

The narrow 2-1 defeat against Atalanta Bergamo and the 1-0 win against AS Roma have already proven that Cagliari can keep up with superior teams. The bet “Cagliari over 0.5 goals” at odds around 1.70 is therefore one of the best football bets of the entire matchday in my opinion.

Cagliari vs. AC Milan AI predictions:

In the new year, our AI model is back in the game and serves you its very own Cagliari Milan AI prediction.

If you say “A”, you have to say “B”. At least that’s what the digital brain seems to think and expands my bet to the classic “Both teams score”.

The odds are estimated at around 2.00 and are therefore in a solid range, even if I don’t want to completely rule out a walled 1-0 victory for the underdog.

Predicted chance of winning:

Victory Cagliari
Draw
Victory AC Milan
15%
23%
62%

In the second tip, the AI goes to “Over 2.5 goals” at odds of about 1.95 at bookmakers with a German license. The fact is that three of the last four Milan games have broken this mark. At Cagliari it was the last three games in a row.

The third selection of AI is very interesting. This is where the “2-1 for Milan” comes on paper. The odds of about 8.75 are of course lucrative. From the bookmakers’ point of view, the 1-0 win is the most likely for the Milanese (odds of about 6.10).
