Alemannia coach Heiner Backhaus has confirmed in the “Aachener Zeitung” that the newly promoted club would like to extend the contract of captain Mika Hanraths (25). Although Aachen are not yet safe from relegation, they are still well in the race with a five-point lead over the first relegation spot. And the Tivoli club is also optimistic about extending Hanraths’ contract: “We are in good talks,” explained sporting director Sascha Eller.
