As previously indicated, Santi Cazorla has extended his contract with Real Oviedo and will therefore continue to wear the jersey of his youth club in the coming season. The 81-time Spanish international (15 goals) returned to Oviedo in the summer of 2023 and helped his club secure promotion to La Liga last season, where Cazorla will now have the opportunity to prove himself once again at the proud age of 40.
