Dzenan Pejcinovic, who is currently on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf, will return to VfL Wolfsburg in the summer. The 19-year-old striker (14 appearances, three goals this season) is to take up a permanent position in the forward line, as Kevin Behrens will leave the club. That has already been decided. “The loan to Düsseldorf was a perfect fit, even though Dzenan was unfortunately injured twice. He knows that we are counting on him and have great expectations of him. He’ll be back in the summer, and we’re sure he’ll be ready for us,” said VfL managing director Peter Christiansen.
