The Czech Ice Hockey Association has parted ways with coach Ivan Hasek following a humiliating 1-2 defeat to the Faroe Islands in the World Cup qualifiers. The association confirmed the dismissal on Wednesday. Association president David Trunda said that the successor would possibly come from abroad. An interim coach could take over for the match against Gibraltar in mid-November.
