The question of Marvin Ducksch’s future at Werder Bremen is more pressing than ever – even though the attacker’s contract includes a clause that will soon take effect and automatically extend his contract until June 2026. There are currently no indications of talks about a longer term. And this raises the question: Does Ducksch even want to stay? Does Werder want him to stay? Ducksch has been playing for SVW since 2021, and has since scored 31 Bundesliga goals and 20 second division goals for the Hanseatic club.
