No country is currently enjoying greater success at national team level than Spain. The Olympic team can be found on the list of tournament favorites and could win the third title in a year (Women’s World Champion, Men’s European Champion) for the southern Europeans.
The Dominican Republic made a successful Olympic debut and fought their way to a 0-0 draw with Egypt thanks to their tremendous passion.
