Konrad Laimer’s contract with FC Bayern runs until 2027, but the German record champions would already like to extend with the versatile Austrian. Sporting director Max Eberl confirmed talks with the Austrian’s agent on Monday – but according to media reports, these are stalling due to the high salary demands of the player’s side. “We have ideas, they have ideas, they have to fit together,” said Eberl. However, they are not doing that “at the moment”, “but that’s not a bad thing”. FC Bayern are “extremely happy” with Laimer, who has a kicker grade average of 2.76 in 20 Bundesliga appearances this season.
