Franz Bleicher has signed a long-term professional contract with FC Augsburg. The 18-year-old midfield talent, who has been playing for the Fuggerstadt club since he was nine, will remain with the Bundesliga club until 2030. Bleicher, who currently plays mainly for FCA’s regional league team, will continue to develop in the reserves and thus “be introduced to professional soccer step by step,” as sporting director Benni Weber explains about the multiple German U-national player.
