FC Bayern summer schedule 2025: When does it continue after the Club World Cup?
After being eliminated in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup, the Munich team traveled back home immediately. The pros now have a three-week vacation ahead of them.
Bayern will then resume training on July 28. What happens after that is still open.
No training camp has been scheduled for Bayern’s 2025 summer schedule so far. If there is to be a short training camp after all, then Tegernsee would once again be an option.
Bayern’s friendly matches in the 2025 summer preparation
Bayern’s friendly matches after the Club World Cup have already been scheduled early. Three very different matches are already on FC Bayern’s 2025 summer schedule.
The first friendly will take place on Saturday, August 2, against Olympique Lyon at the Allianz Arena. Kick-off is at 3:30 p.m.
On Thursday, August 7, Bayern will play the second of their preseason friendlies, titled the “Telekom Cup.” The opponent will be reigning Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur, the former club of Harry Kane. The game will take place in Munich at 6:30 p.m.
The third friendly match on FC Bayern’s 2025 summer schedule will take place on August 12 in Zurich. The Munich team will face Grasshoppers there. Kick-off is at 6:00 p.m.

When is the first competitive game on FC Bayern’s summer schedule?
The first competitive game of the new season for FC Bayern will take place on Saturday, August 16. The Franz Beckenbauer Supercup of the DFL is on the schedule. FC Bayern, as reigning Bundesliga champions, will face DFB Cup winners VfB Stuttgart. Kick-off is at 8:30 p.m.
The Bundesliga season kicks off a week later. Bayern will open the season as champions on Friday, August 22, at 8:30 p.m. at home against RB Leipzig.
