They shared the championship fight last season, they now share a destiny! Galatasaray and Fenerbahce both missed out on the Champions League, so they will now fight all the more fiercely for supremacy in the Süper Lig.
The Canaries have a home game on Friday against a very welcome guest in front of them and are therefore clearly favored.

It is well known by now: In 2023/24, 99 points were not enough to become champions in the Süper Lig! Fenerbahce played a terrific season, but finishing as runners-up was incredibly bitter.
This season should be all the better, however, and they have hired none other than star coach Jose Mourinho. But one thing has already failed: qualifying for the Champions League
Fener failed dramatically against Lille, a shock they first had to digest. In the league, the Canaries started with a 1:0 win against Adana Demirspor. A familiar result?
Not really, as the 99 goals scored last season show that the Canaries were more offensive-minded. But Mourinho, as all soccer fans know, is more of a fan of defense
He must have been all the less pleased that his team only managed a 2-2 draw against promoted side Göztepe a little later on. They were already leading 2-0, but then scored the equalizer in the last second of stoppage time!
It was all the more pleasing that matchday three saw a 5-0 win against Rizespor. Three results, three completely different games, so Fenerbahce still don’t really know which way to go
No matter how many goals are scored, it is almost certain that Edin Dzeko will be partly responsible. The veteran has already scored seven goals this season! He is therefore also the bookmakers’ number one for Friday’s match.
At Oddset, the odds for the goal bet are 1.80, and if you want to increase the risk and bet on Dzeko scoring the important 1:0, you can even look forward to 4.00.
Dzeko was also successful in the most recent duel with Alanyaspor. When they only drew 2-2 at home in February, many agreed that it could have been this match that ultimately cost them the title!
Alanyaspor are actually a welcome opponent. They have lost just one home game against this rival and won four in a row before that 2-2 draw
It can be close between the two teams, but Fener can also sweep Alanyaspor 5-0. I already mentioned at the beginning that the odds in our sports betting apps are more than clear.
A 1.25 meets a 9.75, the visitors are aware of their role as underdogs. This is of course also due to their recent results. They only drew 1:1 against promoted team Eyüpspor, followed by a 2:4 against Basaksehir.
A 1-1 draw against Göztepe was also unsuccessful. So two promoted teams were already among the opponents and they are still winless? Disappointing! Defensively, six goals conceded also sounds anything but successful
Admittedly, Alanyaspor were also unlucky to concede two goals in the final minutes against Basaksehir. Last season, the Orange & Greens were the team that preferred to share the points.
A total of 16 draws were the result! The new season may only be three rounds old, but Alanyaspor already have two draws. In 2023/24, the first five games yielded one point four times
Whoever is coached by Jose Mourinho has to deliver, most likely titles! Fenerbahce’s expectations have grown, the start to the season was okay overall, but nothing more – also because they missed out on the top flight.
Alanyaspor, on the other hand, have yet to win and are known for their many draws. There’s usually nothing to be gained against the top teams, and Fener also completely dispatched Rizespor recently.
Ultimately, I’m betting that the Canaries’ individual quality will prevail and that they can rely on Edin Dzeko as usual. This is ultimately reflected in the following tip:
