Just under three weeks ago, Brian Priske celebrated a sensational 3-0 victory against FC Bayern, but now the coach has to pack his bags. The Dutchman was dismissed just before the play-off first leg against AC Milan. “Although Feyenoord has certainly achieved impressive results in the Champions League with Brian, the past few months have been far too inconsistent and, unfortunately, we have seen too little structural progress,” said Technical Director Dennis de Kloese, explaining the decision. The cup winners currently only occupy fifth place in the Eredivisie and are already twelve points behind a direct CL place.
