On Friday, Besiktas Istanbul confirmed that it had entered into talks with former Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about him taking over as the new coach. On Saturday morning, the Istanbul club announced that they had signed him. The Norwegian’s contract will initially run for a year and a half until the end of the 2025/26 season, but includes an option for an additional year.
