Two days after the 4-0 derby defeat against 1. FC Nürnberg, SpVgg Greuther Fürth parted ways with head coach Alexander Zorniger and their sporting director, Rachid Azzouzi. On their website, the club speaks of a “fresh start in sporting terms”. While U-23 coach Leo Haas will be interim coach until the winter break, Stephan Fürstner, previously sporting director of the Kleeblatt Academy, will take over the sporting management until the winter on an interim basis.
