As originally agreed, Aleigh Gambone’s time at 1 FC Nuremberg ends after just four and a half months. The 25-year-old midfielder joined the club from Glasgow City in mid-August and has since made 14 Bundesliga appearances, mostly as a right-back. From January 1, however, the American will be part of the Boston Legacy FC squad. The franchise joins the NWSL as a newly formed team.
