Jean-Louis Gasset’s (71) rescue mission is over prematurely. HSC Montpellier and the coaching veteran have agreed to part ways amicably, as the bottom-placed team in Ligue 1 announced. Zoumana Camara (46), who most recently coached the U19 team at Paris St. Germain, is now set to take over from Gasset. Montpellier are eleven points behind the relegation spot and thus only have a theoretical chance of avoiding relegation. Gasset only took up the position in October, but was unable to turn things around.
