Georgia – Spain Tip World Cup Qualifiers, Group E, Matchday 9, 15/11/2025 at 18:00
As top favourites for 1st place in Group E, the Spaniards have fully lived up to expectations in the World Cup qualifiers up to this point. After four completed matchdays, the Iberians have a perfect record of four wins and 15-0 goals. A win and Spain will be on the list of World Cup 2026 teams.
Accordingly, I don’t assume that Georgia will be able to successfully defend itself against these Spaniards on the 9th qualifying matchday. Rather, in my Georgia Spain tip, I target the bet “Win Spain with Asian handicap -1.5, -2.0”.
The Georgians have only been partially competitive in the course of the World Cup qualifiers anyway. With three defeats, only the game against Bulgaria could be won. We will therefore not see Georgia perform at the World Cup finals.
Georgia vs. Spain AI Predictions:
Our AI model is very fond of “David vs. Goliath” duels. Here, value bets can be worked out with a little digital brainpower. The Georgia Spain AI forecast is therefore worth more than just a look.
First, the AI throws the bet “Georgia under 0.5 goals” into the ring at Bet365 Germany. The fact is that the Georgians have only failed to score once in the four qualifying games so far. But that game was the first leg against Spain (0:2).
Predicted chance of winning:
| Victory Georgia |
Draw |
Victory Spain |
| 7.4% |
13.8% |
78.8% |
Whether that speaks for or against the bet is something everyone has to decide for themselves. At odds of just under 2.00, however, you can hardly complain – from my point of view.
Very interesting is the selection “Spain leads at half-time” at odds of about 1.65. It should be noted that the bet would have worked in any of the Spaniards’ four qualifying games so far.
And a 1-0 or 2-0 win for the Iberians at half-time is certainly not an unrealistic scenario given the starting position.
I’m not a fan of result betting. The fact that the AI recommends a “3:0 for Spain” at the end, I acknowledge with a noticeable gnashing of teeth. The odds of about 7.70 are of course lavish, but carry immense risk.
However, with the 3-0 win in Bulgaria, the 2-0 win in the first leg and the 4-0 win in the second leg against Bulgaria, the Spaniards have been around the desired result in three of the four qualifying games. So the idea is not completely plucked out of thin air.
What you need to know about Georgia vs. Spain betting
- Georgia only had one shot on goal and 0.01 expected goals (xG) in their most recent meeting with Spain in October.
- With an average possession of 72.3 percent after four games, Spain ranks third in this category behind Germany (75.5%) and England (76%) in World Cup qualifying.
- Spain and England are the only two teams in World Cup qualifying to have won all their games without conceding a goal so far. Nevertheless, a “victory to nil” by Spain in the duel with Georgia is rated by the bookmakers with odds above 2.00.
- Mikel Merino (6) is Spain’s top scorer in World Cup qualifying and has scored three more goals than second-placed Mikel Oyarzabal (3). The Arsenal professional scored twice in the most recent game against Bulgaria.
