Gladbach – Leipzig Tip Bundesliga, Matchday 12 on Friday, 28/11/2025 at 20:30 CET
An odds boost is available on every Bundesliga matchday and at any time, but why not limit a promising Gladbach Leipzig tip to the first half of the game if the data speaks for it?
That’s exactly what I’m planning to do tonight! Statistically, it can be worthwhile to bet on a first round under the sign of the Red Bulls.
RBL have scored an average of 1.18 goals before the break – only three other Bundesliga teams have surpassed this figure. The Foals, on the other hand, are in one of the last places in this ranking with 0.45 goals in the first half of the game.
So don’t be surprised if my risk bet works out and RB actually goes into the dressing room with a lead. If you’re into the classic 1×2 bet after regular time.
RB Leipzig could dominate not only the first 45 minutes, but even the full 90 minutes. Because they are guests of exactly the right opponent – a real favorite opponent!
Mönchengladbach won only four of their 18 Bundesliga games against the Saxons (4 draws, 10 defeats), but celebrated all of these victories at home.
Nevertheless, against no other club did Gladbach collect as few points per Bundesliga game on average as against the Saxons (0.89).
Gladbach – Leipzig Prediction & Betting
As mentioned in the introduction, I plan to place a 1:0 bet at half-time in favor of RBL at a good football betting provider.
I just have a good feeling about it: The odds are 4.65 and it is the most likely result anyway, if the Saxons should actually be ahead at the break.
Alternatively, but also promising, in my opinion you can also switch to the selection 1. HZ: Gladbach does not score a goal at odds around 1.87.
The data situation attests to the Foals’ passive role at the start on Friday – as is so often the case. After all, Borussia didn’t score a single goal in 5 of their 6 Bundesliga home games before the break!

Gladbach – Leipzig: AI Tip & Odds Analysis
While I tend to focus on the first half of the game, our Gladbach Leipzig AI prediction looks at the entire duration of the game and the best possible football bets, which are equally accessible to every sports betting fan over 90 minutes.
The first computer-generated recommendation in this context is: Over 2.5 goals & both score at odds of around 1.75.
A legitimate bet attempt in my eyes, as Leipzig under Ole Werner scores an average of two Bundesliga goals per appearance, while the Foals keep the relegation ranks at a distance (for the time being) thanks to the strong Haris Tabakovic and his important goals.
In addition, our AI model expects a total of 3.31 goals, which should be relatively evenly distributed between both teams at around 1.5 per side.
Haris Tabakovic scores at odds of around 2.50 is a promising pick because he is the player who can bring Gladbach back into the game in the event of a deficit – who else?
He recently scored for the first time in three Bundesliga games in a row and has collected the most scorer points in the league since the beginning of November. This makes him a really promising candidate.
2nd half: Most goals at odds of 1.90 is last but not least a tip that I can also subscribe to.
Personally, I expect RBL to make it 1-0 at half-time anyway, which should be followed by at least two more goals after the break – but I’m not quite sure which team will score them.
The best odds for Gladbach vs. Leipzig
Let’s take a look at the Gladbach Leipzig odds now and capture the opinion of the bookmakers. The numbers paint a picture that reflects both excitement and slight favorite roles.
A home win by Gladbach is rated 3.00. The bookmakers see the Foals as outsiders, but believe they have a chance, especially if they manage to prevent an early deficit.
The draw is 4.00. This rate was quite high. I don’t really like draw bets, but in this case the risk/reward ratio is certainly not bad.
After all, an away win for RBL earns an average of 2.10. The bookmakers therefore see the Saxons as slight favourites – mainly because of individual class, better form and experience in close games.
At the same time, the odds show that Leipzig are not considered overpowering, but could face resistance in Gladbach, especially after the break.
Gladbach vs Leipzig Match Analysis:
Leipzig will clearly dominate the first half, even if possession is likely to be even. Under Ole Werner, the team is increasingly relying on direct play and fast vertical passes to the top.
Gladbach allow an average of 14.82 shots per game, while Leipzig itself has 16.45 shots – the second most in the league.
This indicates that the Red Bulls will already create several clear chances in the first half.
Set-pieces could also be a factor early on, both teams have scored five goals each from stationary balls, which at the same time means that there will be “red alert” for every corner kick on Friday.
In the second half, the game becomes more open and balanced. Gladbach will try to counterattack from deep, which makes Leipzig’s high pressing line and fast transition play even more dangerous.
Despite initial control by the Red Bulls, Gladbach are likely to set more pinpricks through quick counter-attacks.
RBL, however, remain the more active and dangerous team, so the visitors will score at least one goal – probably one or two more in the turbulent second half when additional spaces open up due to Gladbach’s riskier style of play.
Gladbach form check
Borussia Mönchengladbach are in really good form at the moment. Three Bundesliga wins in a row, the longest streak currently in the league, show you that the team is finally picking up speed again.
The 3-1 home win against Cologne has also put an end to the eight-game home misery, and the 3-0 win at Hoffenheim also shows that they can be extremely effective on the pitch.
In the last three games, they have scored a total of ten goals – the second-best value in the league behind Bayern.
Particularly striking: at least three goals in each of these games – the last time there was anything like this was in 2018.
If you look at Gladbach, you will quickly notice that everything is going smoothly offensively at the moment, and the team can now add quickly even after falling behind.
Defensively, Gladbach have become more stable after the 3-0 defeat against Bayern. Only one goal conceded in the last three games – best record in the Bundesliga in this period.
This gives you as a spectator security that the offense is not everything, but that there is now also order at the back.
The aforementioned Haris Tabakovic stands out: scored three games in a row, leading the way in goal involvements since November with four goals and two assists.
Overall, a team that is currently in top form, both defensively solid and offensively explosive, and that can take control of games even against stronger opponents.
Leipzig Form Check
Leipzig are currently on a really strong run in the Bundesliga. 25 points from 11 games mark the second-best start to the season in the club’s history, only 2016/17 was a little better.
Eight wins from the last ten games, only one draw and one defeat, show you that they are almost unstoppable in this phase.
Particularly striking: Defensively, Leipzig is bombproof – conceded only seven goals in these ten games, the best value together with Dortmund.
If they continue like this, the club could even equal the record of nine wins from the first twelve games.
Things are also solid away from home: 10 goals and 10 goals conceded on foreign grounds, plus an average of 1.67 points per away game – shows you that Leipzig remains consistent even on the road.
According to Expected Points, they are slightly above target, which means that they are currently performing even better than statistically expected.
Overall, a team that is both defensively stable and offensively efficient, controls the ball well and is currently one of the most reliable teams in the league.
Those who rely on Leipzig can count on continuity, strong organisation and the ability to dominate games both at home and away.
