Watford FC is changing coaches once again. After the Hornets showed Paulo Pezzolano the door, an old acquaintance is expected to bring about improvement: Javi Gracia is taking over as head coach. The Spaniard previously coached the second division club from January 2018 to September 2019, when they were still in the Premier League. The Hornets are keen to return there, but after nine matchdays with a balanced record (three wins, three draws, three defeats), they are only 11th in the Championship.
